Black & Fuscia

Work for 3 dancers

The root of all Latin culture is “la familia”, Black and Fuscia honors and celebrates this concept. The work features 3 characters: a mature “motherly” woman, the strong male aspect and a youthful female.  Inspired by the complex Argentinean rhythms of Ginastera’s “Toscana”, the movement style is a fusion of contemporary ballet with Latin inflections and rhythms.
