Spaces Between

A work for four dancers.

In Spaces Between, a collaboration between John M. Castagna and composer Mark Mercury, the dancers embody the four elements of Water, Fire, Air and Earth that make up the material universe.

These elements make up the material world; they attract, repel and shake the very ground upon which humans walk.  All are dependent on the others for the flow of life creating a harmonious environment.  Mark uses orchestral timbres and futuristic electronic sounds to create an electro-acoustic soundscape.
