The Golden Slave
A duet
The Golden Slave is a romantic pas de deux choreographed to the dazzling, colorful orchestration of “Scherazade”. An archaeologist, at a dig in the desert, stumbles upon the golden Slave. She is mourning the loss of her dead lover. He falls in love with her and tries to persuade her to let go of the golden scarf which represents the burdens of her past. At last, she realizes her love for the archaeologist releasing the scarf to join him.
